    May We Restore

    An intimate women’s restoration retreat in the South of France.

    Women’s wellness meets the French art of living well.

  • May we connect

    This retreat is an intimate, phone-free women’s retreat in the South of France created around caring for the whole woman: body, mind and spirit. Away from the distractions of everyday life, we’ll create space for genuine connection through shared experiences, laughter and meaningful conversation. Connection with the women around us, and ultimately, with ourselves.

    May we slow down

    For six days, we’ll step away from the pace and expectations of everyday life and settle into something slower.

    Through movement, meditation, nourishing food and daily workshops exploring women’s health, wellness and the art of living well, we’ll care for ourselves physically and mentally while leaving plenty of room for rest, laughter and simply enjoying the beauty of being in France. Our wellness programming is guided by Dr. Ihotu Ali, a Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Public Health with more than 15 years of experience in women’s wellness and integrative care.

    May we restore.

    This isn’t about packing every moment with activities or arriving home as some completely new version of yourself. It’s about giving yourself six days to feel good, be present, learn, be cared for and reconnect with yourself. And perhaps, taking a little of that slower, more intentional way of living home with you.

    No two days will look exactly the same, but each will be intentionally designed with space to move, learn, connect, explore and simply be.

    Section image

    Morning

    Begin slowly.

    Wake up to coffee or tea and a slow morning before gathering for gentle movement, yoga or meditation. Enjoy a nourishing breakfast at your own pace and ease into the day with nowhere to rush off to.

    Section image

    Afternoon

    Nourish, explore, restore.

    Each day unfolds a little differently. Wander a Provençal market and cook alongside a local chef. Receive a massage at the villa. Explore practices rooted in women’s wellness, body awareness and deep restoration. Experience sound healing, spend time along the Mediterranean, or take in the coastline from a private boat.

    And woven throughout it all is space—real space. Time to read, journal, nap, lounge by the pool, soak in the hot tub, walk to the beach, connect with other women or simply do absolutely nothing.

    Section image

    Evening

    Come back together.

    Gather around the table for a beautiful chef-prepared dinner, followed by meaningful conversation, reflection or a quiet evening beneath the Provençal sky. Throughout the week, intimate workshops, restorative practices and individual wellness experiences invite you to reconnect with your body, your needs and yourself.

    Roxanne May

    Founder, May We Voyage Educator & Retreat Host

    @maywevoyage

    Roxanne May is the French-American founder of May We Voyage, a travel company born from her lifelong connection to France and her love of sharing the country, its culture and its way of life with others.

    After more than a decade as an educator, Roxanne stepped away from the traditional path to begin a new chapter in France and build a more intentional life around travel, creativity and connection. Her background in education shapes the thoughtful way she brings people together, while her experience designing travel allows her to create experiences that feel personal, welcoming and rooted in place.

    May We Restore was also inspired by Roxanne’s own journey toward greater physical and emotional well-being. Through periods of stress, transition and personal health challenges, she began exploring supportive and holistic practices that helped her slow down, reconnect with herself and become more intentional about how she cared for her body and mind.

    The retreat brings together so many things she loves: France, travel, women’s well-being, meaningful conversation, beautiful experiences and, of course, really good food.

    Her hope is simple: that every guest feels genuinely cared for throughout the week and leaves feeling connected, inspired and a little more restored.

    Dr. Ihotu Ali

    DC, MPH, LMT

    Women’s Wellness Educator & Retreat Facilitator

    @DoctorBodyworker

    Dr. Ihotu Ali is a chiropractor, fascial bodyworker, birth doula, and founder of the Oshun Center for Intercultural Healing, an integrative women’s health clinic and training center with locations in Minneapolis and San Diego.

    The first doctor in a family lineage of folk healers and midwives from Nigeria, Ireland and Poland, Ihotu, pronounced “ee-ho-too” and meaning “love,” brings 15 years of experience in clinical care and maternal health research with the United Nations. Her professional work includes myofascial release, Maya Abdominal Therapy, pregnancy and postpartum care, movement, therapeutic self-care, and whole-person approaches that bring together modern medicine and traditional healing.

    At the heart of Ihotu’s work is a simple belief: healing knowledge shouldn’t live only in clinics or in the hands of experts. Through education and accessible self-care practices, she helps people connect more deeply with their bodies and reconnect with healing knowledge rooted in families, communities and relationships with the earth.

    At May We Restore, Ihotu will guide group-based women’s wellness education, restorative movement and intentional self-care experiences. Her hope is to give each guest practical tools for listening to her body, supporting her well-being and carrying the spirit of restoration into everyday life.
